‘Science Fiction Station’: Home-learning video lessons with accompanying cross-curricular worksheets.
Based on the Science Fiction novella Ilnoblet Elmer and the Alien Water Thieves by the author, the video lessons feature the author reading a chapter from the book each time, then explaining and demonstrating the worksheet activities.
Most relevant for ages 9-12, but younger kids would also enjoy the activities with an older sibling or adult to help. 
Each video is approximately 15-20 minutes long, including about 10 minutes of the author reading one chapter. In total, watching a video and doing the accompanying worksheet activities should take about an hour or more each time, depending on how many activities kids do.
Simply download and print the relevant pages of worksheets below, before watching each video in the series.
